People have come to me who have tried everything from hCG and bypass surgery to counting points, keto, intermittent fasting- you name it, people have done it! All this in an attempt to lose weight quickly. Many have even tried the cabbage soup diet! -and guess what it worked! While others have tried everything to no avail…
So what gives? And which diet plan is the best?
Real fast fat loss…
I’ll let you in on a little secret they all work! I mean honestly, you can find people who have tried any one of those, lost weight, and kept it off for life.
So the big question… Why do some diets work for some of the people some of the time and no matter what others try they’re frustrated?
Okay, I’ll let you in on another little secret. If your body’s in balance you can try almost anything and lose weight. For those people it’s a real simple formula- eat less and move more, the weight comes off.
BUT if you find yourself doing any of the above and it’s not working you really can’t blame the plan, it may be that your body is simply out of balance. Ok What do I mean by that exactly?
We’ll think of it this way. Your body is perfectly in balance, your hormones are working properly, your metabolism is fired up, and your gut, liver, lymphatic system are all working the way God designed them to. If that’s the case, the only way someone can really gain excessive weight, or have a problem losing weight, would be if they’re simply eating too much and not moving enough. Make sense?
However, most people I see every day have tried everything to lose weight and ended up frustrated, not because of the plan they chose (heck people even bring me all their food journals their exercise logs and I have to honestly say they’re doing everything right), it’s just that the body they’re doing it to is “wrong”.
For instance, if your gut is out of balance your pancreas may be forced to produce extra insulin to help you digest food. Insulin is a powerful fat-storage hormone, so you may eat well and still not lose weight.
Another area that needs attention often is the liver. If you’re going to burn an ounce of fat, it happens in your liver.
Many people who come to me these days have had gallbladder issues or fatty liver- all signs that the liver could be sluggish or not functioning up to par. Sometimes simply cleansing and healing the liver fires up the metabolism so it becomes much easier to lose weight regardless of which plan you try.

Think of it this way… most people think if they lose weight they’ll get healthy…unfortunately, for the majority of us, that’s backward.
You have to focus on getting healthy to lose weight.
That is by far the fastest way to not only lose weight but to keep the weight off for years to come!
